came back from camp on sunday afternoon. the camp was quite fun overall, but i needed time to recover from the culture shock i got on the 2nd day. i'm so lousy; i was quite traumatised by all the drinking and clubbing that went on in school on the 2nd night. put off, in fact. i guess some things just takes time getting accustomed to. i won't go into the details about what happened...
my group was quite nice. we played lots of lame games on the 1st day - "bang bang who died", "fuzzy wuzzy" etc type of games, haha, but it was pretty fun. it was a pity though that my group didn't get to go for fright night :( all the way to changi for nothing. apparently the police turned up at the old changi hospital (where the fright night was supposed to be held) because we were trespassing on private property. we had amazing race on the 2nd day. my group was super slack, we just walked the whole way. but that also gave us more opportunity to interact and more with one another, so no complaints there. anyway one of the girls in our group had an injured knee so she couldn't run. we had to accommodate her if not she would've had to exclude herself from the race. actually it wasn't much of an accommodation la haha, cos there were some of us who preferred more of a leisurely stroll than running around.
bondue camp is only the first of my three camps so far, so i've 2 more to go! this week, thursday (national day) will be the start of FTB. next week will be SMUX camp. it think SMUX camp will be fun! but i suspect it will be the most exhausting of the three. judging from the packing list, the camps will be very obs-like. oh, i found out that vicki's in my group! so that's good news :) at least someone whom i know - not personally - but at least i know who she is and she knows who i am. and well, we both know shiyan.
